5 Easiest home remedies to get rid of sun tan
Tanning usually occurs when skin comes in contact with harmful sun rays. Due to less melanin production, chances of getting tanned increases as melanin helps skin to protect against harmful sun rays. 1.POTATO JUICE + LEMON
Mix 2 tbsp. of potato juice with half lemon. After cleansing your face apply this mixture all over your face with the help of a cotton. Potato and lemon acts as a bleaching agent and reduces hyperpigmentation. Also due to high content of vitamin c in lemon, this mixture removes dead skin cells and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well. Wash after 15 minutes and use twice a week for better results.
2.COFFEE + HONEY
Add 1 tbsp. of coffee powder in 2 tbsp. of pure honey and mix it well. Apply all over your clean face and rinse it after 15 minutes with warm water. Coffee usually do not protect against sun rays but acts as a exfoliator and reduces tanning whereas honey moisturizes skin and brightens skin complexion.
3. TOMATO + SUGAR
This mixture really gives visible result just after one use. All you have to do is cut half tomato and add some sugar on it & on a clean skin rub the sugar coated tomato gently for 10-15 minutes in circular motion. Tomato has natural acids that brightens skin whereas sugar will act as a exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and tanning.
4.ALOE VERA + TEA TREE OIL
Aloe vera & tea tree oil can be very beneficial to repair skin after sun damage. All you have to do is mix 2 tbsp. of fresh aloe vera gel and 2-3 drops of tea tree oil into it. Aloe vera has cooling and anti-bacterial properties that soothe tanned and sunburned skin whereas tea tree oil prevent infection in case of skin damage. Apply this mixture for 20 minutes and rinse with cold water to get rid of sun tan.
5.YOGURT + TOMATO
Yogurt and tomato mixture together can reduce tanning and gives a brighten look. Mix 1 tbsp. of yogurt into 3 tbsp. of tomato juice and apply on tanned area. Leave for 10-15 minutes and wash with normal water. Use this for at least twice a week for better results. Yogurt exfoliates and hydrates skin as well whereas tomatoes contains antioxidants that helps to reduces sun tan, dark spots and balances oil production.
